Underwater stability is one of the important overall performances of deep-sea human occupied vehicles (HOVs). The stability of HOVs is measured by metacentric height (GB), which is closely related to the operation and safety of HOVs. The metacentric height of HOV changes due to the change of ocean parameters and its own ballast during movement. Based on the basic formula of metacentric height and the buoyancy loss calculation method for HOV pressure structure, buoyancy material and hydraulic oil, a mathematical model of metacentric height for HOVs was established in this paper, and a method of underwater stability analysis for HOVs was proposed. Taking “SHEN HAI YONG SHI” HOV as the research object, the underwater stability of HOVs was calculated and analyzed, and the variation law of the metacentric height of HOVs was obtained, which can provide a reference for the design of HOVs.

水下稳性是深海载人潜水器重要的总体性能之一,通过稳心高(GB)衡量潜水器的稳性,其指标大小与潜水器的操纵和安全息息相关。潜水器在运动过程中,海洋参数随深度变化以及潜水器自身压载变化引起潜水器稳心高发生变化。本文以稳心高基本公式为基础,结合潜水器耐压结构、浮力材料和液压油的浮力损失计算方法,建立深海载人潜水器水下稳心高数学模型,提出一种深海载人潜水器水下稳性分析方法。以“深海勇士”号载人潜水器为研究对象,对深海载人潜水器的水下稳性进行计算分析,得出深海载人潜水器水下稳心高的变化规律,可为深海载人潜水器的设计提供参考。

水下稳性是深海载人潜水器重要的总体性能之一,通过稳心高(GB)衡量潜水器的稳性,其指标大小与潜水器的操纵和安全息息相关。潜水器在运动过程中,海洋参数随深度变化以及潜水器自身压载变化引起潜水器稳心高发生变化。本文以稳心高基本公式为基础,结合潜水器耐压结构、浮力材料和液压油的浮力损失计算方法,建立深海载人潜水器水下稳心高数学模型,提出一种深海载人潜水器水下稳性分析方法。以“深海勇士”号载人潜水器为研究对象,对深海载人潜水器的水下稳性进行计算分析,得出深海载人潜水器水下稳心高的变化规律,可为深海载人潜水器的设计提供参考。

Underwater stability is one of the important overall performances of deep-sea human occupied vehicles (HOVs). The stability of HOVs is measured by metacentric height (GB), which is closely related to the operation and safety of HOVs. The metacentric height of HOV changes due to the change of ocean parameters and its own ballast during movement. Based on the basic formula of metacentric height and the buoyancy loss calculation method for HOV pressure structure, buoyancy material and hydraulic oil, a mathematical model of metacentric height for HOVs was established in this paper, and a method of underwater stability analysis for HOVs was proposed. Taking “SHEN HAI YONG SHI” HOV as the research object, the underwater stability of HOVs was calculated and analyzed, and the variation law of the metacentric height of HOVs was obtained, which can provide a reference for the design of HOVs.

水下稳性是深海载人潜水器重要的总体性能之一,通过稳心高(GB)衡量潜水器的水下稳性,其指标大小与潜水器的操纵和安全息息相关[1]。潜水器在水下作业过程中会产生重浮心位置的变化[2-4],一方面,载人潜水器在大深度的下潜和上浮过程中多采用无动力的方式[5-6],通过抛弃潜浮压载完成下潜和上浮,抛弃潜浮压载引起潜水器的重心位置发生变化;另一方面,由于海水环境参数随着水深的变化而发生变化,潜水器耐压结构、浮力材料、液压补偿器等必备部件在高压下也会产生体积变化。这些变化导致潜水器的浮心位置发生变化,两方面因素共同引起潜水器稳心高(GB)发生变化。近年来,国内一些研究人员对潜水器排水体积变化的计算方法开展了一系列的研究工作。潘彬彬等[7]在“蛟龙”号载人潜水器5000米海试D44潜次数据分析的基础上,推导出针对“蛟龙”号载人潜水器排水体积变化的数学表达式;姜言清等[8]在全海深水下机器人的重力和浮力计算中考虑了因静水压力导致的潜水器排水体积变化;胡中惠等[9]分析了载人潜水器耐压结构、浮力材料和液压油的浮力损失变化规律,提出了一种潜水器排水体积变化计算方法。
目前,关于深海载人潜水器在水下运动过程中由潜水器排水体积变化等因素引起的稳心高变化情况未有相关研究工作。本文以稳心高基本公式为基础,将载人潜水器的水下阶段划分为下潜、巡航和上浮3个阶段,结合潜水器耐压结构、浮力材料和液压油的浮力损失计算方法,推导出深海载人潜水器水下稳心高数学模型,以“深海勇士”号载人潜水器为研究对象,对载人潜水器的水下稳性进行计算分析,得出载人潜水器在下潜、巡航、上浮全过程中的稳心高变化规律,为后续深海载人潜水器的设计提供参考。
首先建立坐标系,坐标原点o位于潜水器艉部0#横剖面、底部水平基准面和中纵剖面的交点,纵轴ox平行于底部水平基准面指向首部为正,横轴oy平行于底部水平基准面指向左舷为正,垂轴oz指向潜水器顶部为正,载人潜水器的稳心高[1]GB)可表示为
式中,zB为潜水器浮心垂向坐标,zG为潜水器重心垂向坐标。
假设载人潜水器由n个部件组成,每个部件的质量为mi,重心垂向坐标为zmi,体积为vi,浮心垂向坐标为zbi,其中,i=1,2,…,n。则载人潜水器的初始浮心和重心垂向坐标可分别表示为
式中,ρ为潜水器所在深度处的海水密度,g为重力加速度,md为下潜压载空气中重量,vd为下潜压载的排水体积,zd为下潜压载的形心垂向坐标,ma为上浮压载空气中重量,va为上浮压载的排水体积,za为上浮压载的形心垂向坐标(潜浮压载采用实心铅块或铁块,其重心、浮心与形心重合)。
本文提出如下假设:
(1)对于一台载人潜水器,其部件均已安装固定,各个部件的重心和浮心位置固定不变;
(2)各部件在海水压力的作用下体积变化均匀,体积变化量相对于部件体积为小量,体积变化对部件重心和浮心位置的影响忽略不计;
(3)文献[7]和文献[10]对载人潜水器的典型任务剖面进行了分析,将载人潜水器的水下运动过程从运动的角度出发划分为平稳下潜阶段、抛弃下潜压载减速阶段、靠底阶段、抛弃上浮压载加速阶段和平稳上浮阶段。本文从潜水器水下稳性分析的角度出发,将载人潜水器的水下运动过程划分为下潜、巡航和上浮3个阶段,分阶段计算载人潜水器的水下稳心高。
在下潜阶段,载人潜水器搭载下潜压载和上浮压载,并随着下潜深度的增加,共有m个部件的体积发生变化,每个部件的排水体积变化量为Δvj,排水体积变化量对应的浮心垂向坐标为zΔvj,则公式(2)可表示为
式中,V0为潜水器下潜初始阶段的排水体积,zB0为潜水器下潜初始阶段的浮心垂向坐标,ΔzB为潜水器在下潜过程中浮心垂向坐标的变化量,ΔV为潜水器在下潜过程中的排水体积变化量,zΔV为排水体积变化量所对应的浮心垂向坐标。

由式(6)、(11)和(16)可知,对于一台载人潜水器,其重心、浮心以及潜浮压载的参数均已知,计算潜水器在不同阶段的稳心高(GB)的关键之一是计算得到潜水器的排水体积变化量ΔV。随着载人潜水器在下潜/上浮过程中所处深度的不同,海水压力会不同,载人潜水器各个部分的排水体积会随海水压力的变化而变化。文献[9]中提供了一种关于排水体积变化量的计算方法,本文采用相同的计算方法。根据载人潜水器部件和结构组成特点,浮力损失系数k表示为
式中,k1为耐压结构的浮力损失系数,k2为浮力材料的浮力损失系数,k3为压力补偿部件的浮力损失系数。
耐压结构的浮力损失包括球壳耐压体浮力损失和圆柱壳耐压体浮力损失,耐压结构的浮力损失系数k1可表示为
式中,ΔVSi为球壳耐压体的浮力损失,ΔVCi为圆柱壳耐压体的浮力损失,V0为潜水器在水面时的初始体积。
浮力材料的浮力损失包括浮力材料吸水引起的浮力损失和体积收缩引起的浮力损失,浮力材料的浮力损失系数k2可表示为。
式中,η为浮力材料吸水率,ρw为海水密度,ρb为浮力材料密度,Vf0为浮力材料常压下的体积,p为静水压力,E为体积弹性模量,μ为泊松比。
海水压力通过力传递作用于液压补偿部件中的液压油会随着海水压力的增加产生一定程度的压缩,液压补偿部件会产生相同的压缩量,导致排水体积的减小,造成浮力损失。压力补偿部件的浮力损失系数k3可表示为
式中,Vh0为潜水器下潜至深度h处的体积,ηyh)为液压油的压缩率。
载人潜水器水下稳心高的计算求解流程如图1所示。
在计算过程中,以潜水器下潜初始阶段为起点。首先,根据潜水器所处深度与预定深度的比较判断潜水器潜浮压载是否抛弃;然后,根据潜水器所处深度和潜浮压载抛弃的判断结果,结合耐压结构、浮力材料和液压油参数(见表1),计算潜水器当前深度处潜水器的排水体积变化;最后,根据潜浮压载抛弃的判断结果、潜水器排水体积变化计算结果和潜水器参数计算所在深度处的稳心高。判断当前深度是否抵达预定深度,如果抵达,计算停止,如果未抵达,按深度步长Δh更新深度并重复上述计算步骤,直至计算完成下潜、巡航和上浮全过程的潜水器水下稳心高。
以“深海勇士”号载人潜水器为研究对象,根据文献[11]中的潜水器参数,采用本文所述水下稳性分析方法对“深海勇士”号载人潜水器的水下稳心高进行计算,分析其稳心高在水下不同阶段的变化情况,结果如图2~4所示。
图2~3为潜水器重心和浮心垂向坐标随深度变化曲线,图4为潜水器稳心高随深度的变化曲线,结合图2~4分阶段对潜水器的稳心高变化进行分析。
(1)下潜阶段
图2~4可知,在下潜阶段,潜水器的重心保持在一个稳定值,潜水器的浮心和稳心高随下潜深度的增加而发生变化。稳心高的变化是由潜水器的浮心变化所引起的,潜水器的浮心变化是由潜水器的排水体积变化所引起。由此可知,在下潜阶段潜水器稳心高的变化是由潜水器的排水体积变化所引起的,潜水器由水面下潜至4500 m的排水体积变化ΔV随下潜深度的变化如图5所示,潜水器稳心高与潜水器排水体积变化的关系如图6所示。
图5图6可知,在下潜阶段,潜水器由水面采用无动力方式下潜至4500 m,潜水器的排水体积减小了0.298 m3,该部分排水体积所对应的浮心垂向坐标由下潜初始阶段的1715 mm变化至1671 mm,在二者的综合作用下,导致潜水器的稳心高随下潜深度的增加逐渐减小,稳心高由下潜初始阶段的165.6 mm变化至162.8 mm,减小了2.8 mm,以下潜初始阶段的稳心高(165.6 mm)作为基准,减小比例为1.7%。
(2)巡航阶段
当潜水器抵达作业水深4500 m处时,抛弃下潜压载,潜水器达到平衡状态并进入水下巡航阶段。由图2图3可知,潜水器的重心和浮心因抛弃下潜压载均发生突变,进而引起潜水器的稳心高发生变化,由162.8 mm突变至154.3 mm,减小了8.5 mm,以下潜初始阶段的稳心高(165.6 mm)作为基准,减小比例为5.1%。
(3)上浮阶段
在潜水器完成水下作业后,抛弃上浮压载进入上浮阶段,采用无动力方式上浮至水面。由图2可知,潜水器的重心首先因抛弃上浮压载而发生突变,然后在上浮过程中保持在一个稳定值;由图3可知,潜水器的浮心首先因抛弃上浮压载而发生突变,然后在上浮过程中随深度的减小而变化,同下潜阶段相同,该变化由潜水器排水体积的变化所引起。因此,在上浮阶段,由上浮压载抛弃和潜水器的排水体积变化两方面因素共同引起潜水器稳心高的变化。
图4可知,潜水器的重心和浮心因抛弃下潜压载均发生突变,进而引起潜水器的稳心高发生变化,稳心高由154.3 mm突变至139.6 mm,减小了14.7 mm。
潜水器由水下4500 m上浮至水面的排水体积变化ΔV随深度的变化如图7所示,潜水器稳心高与潜水器排水体积变化的关系如图8所示。
图7图8可知,在上浮阶段,潜水器由水下4500 m上浮至水面,潜水器的排水体积较巡航阶段增加了0.23 m3,该部分排水体积所对应的浮心垂向坐标由1671 mm变化至1780 mm。在二者的综合作用下,潜水器的稳心高随着潜水器上浮较抛弃上浮压载后逐渐增加,稳心高由抛弃上浮压载后的139.6 mm增加至141.3 mm,增加了1.7 mm。两方面的作用使得潜水器的稳心高较巡航阶段减小了13 mm,与下潜初始阶段的稳心高(165.6 mm)相比共减小了24.3 mm,减小比例为14.7%。
综上所述,在下潜、巡航、上浮全过程中,潜水器下潜至预定作业深度后,潜水器的稳心高由165.6 mm变化至162.8 mm;抛弃下潜压载后,稳心高由162.8 mm突变至154.3 mm;抛弃上浮压载后,稳心高由154.3 mm突变至139.6 mm;上浮至水面后,稳心高由139.6 mm变化至141.3 mm。在整个过程中,稳心高最小值为139.6 mm,出现在潜水器抛弃上浮压载后的上浮初始阶段,与下潜初始阶段的稳心高(165.6 mm)相比减小了26 mm,减小比例为15.7%。
本文对载人潜水器的水下稳性进行了分析研究,提出一种载人潜水器的水下稳性分析方法,以“深海勇士”号载人潜水器为研究对象,采用该方法计算分析了潜水器的稳心高在水下不同阶段的变化情况,得到以下结论:
(1)由“深海勇士”号载人潜水器的稳性计算分析结果可知,在下潜过程中,载人潜水器的稳心高随下潜深度的增加而逐渐减小;当潜水器抵达预定深度,抛弃下潜压载进入巡航状态后,潜水器的稳心高发生突变减小;当潜水器完成巡航作业抛弃上浮压载准备上浮后,潜水器的稳心高再次发生突变减小;在上浮过程中,潜水器的稳心高随着水深的减小而逐渐增加,虽然稳心高有所增加,但与下潜初始阶段相比,稳心高是减小的。在下潜、巡航和上浮全过程中,稳心高的最小值出现在潜水器抛弃上浮压载后的上浮初始阶段。
(2)在下潜、巡航、上浮全过程中,由两方面因素引起潜水器稳心高的变化,一是潜水器排水体积变化引起稳心高变化,该变化与海水环境压力有关,海水深度越深,环境压力越大,潜水器排水体积变化越大,稳心高变化越大;二是潜浮压载抛弃引起稳心高变化,该变化为瞬时变化,由于潜浮压载通常布置在潜水器重心位置以下,潜浮压载的抛弃将会导致潜水器重心位置上移,进而引起潜水器稳心高的减小。因此,在计算分析载人潜水器的水下稳性时,应综合考虑上述两方面因素。
