In the field of blasting work, stemming has a significant impact on the effectiveness and safety of blasting operations. To improve the blasting effect and reduce blasting costs, it is essential to determine the optimal length of stemming. This study uses a combination of explosion wave theory, theoretical mechanics, and LS-DYNA numerical simulation to analyze the impact of stemming length on blasting effect, which is then validated through field experiments. The study results indicate that when the blast hole depth is between 0.6 m and 1.4 m, the optimal stemming ratio is between 0.38 and 0.54, and with an increase in blast hole depth, the optimal ratio decreases. When the blast hole depth is between 1.6 m and 2.4 m, the optimal stemming ratio is between 0.36 and 0.38. If the blast hole depth exceeds 1.2 m, and the stemming length equals or exceeds half of the blast hole depth, a detrimental effect may occur. The radial uncoupling coefficient R exerts a significant effect on the optimal stemming length. When R is less than or equal to 1.8, the optimal stemming length decreases with an increase in R. However, when R is greater than 1.8, the optimal stemming length remains unchanged. Additionally, field experiments were conducted at the Wangcun Coal Mine Limited Liability Company 8107 return airway, including tests on 1.2 m and 2.2 m cut holes and a 2.0 m auxiliary hole. The optimal stemming lengths were found to be 50 cm, 90 cm, and 80 cm, respectively, which aligns with the results of theoretical calculation and numerical simulation.

在爆破工作中,炮孔堵塞的效果对爆破工作的效果与安全有很大的影响,为了提高爆破效果、降低爆破成本,确定炮孔堵塞的最佳长度很有必要。结合爆轰波理论和理论力学,采用理论分析与LS-DYNA数值模拟相结合的办法,进行炮孔堵塞长度对爆破效果影响的研究,并通过现场进行验证。研究结果表明:炮孔深度在0.6~1.4 m时,最佳的炮孔堵塞比例为0.38~0.54,且随炮孔深度的增大而减小,炮孔深度在1.6~2.4 m时,最佳的炮孔堵塞比例为0.36~0.38;炮孔深度超过1.2 m,同时炮孔堵塞长度≥1/2炮孔深度后,存在炮孔堵塞过长效应导致爆破效果不佳。径向不耦合系数R对炮孔的最佳堵塞长度具有显著的影响,当R≤1.8时,最佳炮孔堵塞长度随着R的增大而减小,当R>1.8时,最佳炮孔堵塞长度不随R改变。在大同王村煤业有限责任公司8107顶回风巷进行了现场试验,分别对1.2 m和2.2 m的掏槽孔以及2.0 m的辅助眼进行试验,炮孔的最佳堵塞长度分别为50 cm、90 cm和80 cm,与理论计算、数值模拟的结果相吻合。

In the field of blasting work, stemming has a significant impact on the effectiveness and safety of blasting operations. To improve the blasting effect and reduce blasting costs, it is essential to determine the optimal length of stemming. This study uses a combination of explosion wave theory, theoretical mechanics, and LS-DYNA numerical simulation to analyze the impact of stemming length on blasting effect, which is then validated through field experiments. The study results indicate that when the blast hole depth is between 0.6 m and 1.4 m, the optimal stemming ratio is between 0.38 and 0.54, and with an increase in blast hole depth, the optimal ratio decreases. When the blast hole depth is between 1.6 m and 2.4 m, the optimal stemming ratio is between 0.36 and 0.38. If the blast hole depth exceeds 1.2 m, and the stemming length equals or exceeds half of the blast hole depth, a detrimental effect may occur. The radial uncoupling coefficient R exerts a significant effect on the optimal stemming length. When R is less than or equal to 1.8, the optimal stemming length decreases with an increase in R. However, when R is greater than 1.8, the optimal stemming length remains unchanged. Additionally, field experiments were conducted at the Wangcun Coal Mine Limited Liability Company 8107 return airway, including tests on 1.2 m and 2.2 m cut holes and a 2.0 m auxiliary hole. The optimal stemming lengths were found to be 50 cm, 90 cm, and 80 cm, respectively, which aligns with the results of theoretical calculation and numerical simulation.

地下空间开发技术的发展,无论是隧道还是煤矿巷道掘进,爆破是常见的掘进方法[1]。炮孔堵塞是爆破工程中关键的步骤,堵塞的效果不仅对爆破效果有很大影响,而且影响施工进度和设备安全[2,3]。炮孔堵塞长度太短,堵塞物易被爆生气体推出,对巷道中的设备造成损毁;炮孔堵塞长度过长,爆炸体积减小,降低爆破作用效果[4]
大量理论和试验证明了炮孔堵塞对爆破效果有巨大的影响作用[5-7]。宗琦分析了堵塞物的运动规律[8],并通过现场试验验证存在最佳的堵塞长度。王琛联系炮孔深度推导出堵塞长度与孔深的关系[9]。在此基础上张艳军考虑堵塞材料在起爆后会产生压缩[10],建立了压缩性堵塞模型。
秦声等人通过实验得出不同岩性、炮孔深度条件下的最佳堵塞长度[11]。郝亚飞认为在单自由面爆破条件下,炮孔堵塞长度对爆破振动速度具有较大的影响[12],径向不耦合系数同样对爆破效果影响很大。王伟等对爆炸应力波进行监测[13],发现径向不耦合系数在2~3时爆破效果最佳。梁为民对炮孔孔壁压力进行分析[14],认为不耦合装药结构提高了爆破效果。孟德君研究了不同装药结构对爆炸能量传递的影响[15],发现不耦合装药结构使爆炸能量分布更均匀。
通过数值分析软件,结合大同王村煤业有限责任公司8107顶回巷的爆破设计方案,在设计的进行不耦合系数1.31的条件下,对炮孔深度与最佳堵塞长度的规律进行研究,与此同时探究其他径向不耦合系数对于最佳堵塞长度的影响,以此指导工程。
模拟现场巷道开挖面直眼和楔形炮孔的爆破,为了减少计算量,建立1/2模型,网格划分如图1。模型网格尺寸偏小,可得到清晰的应力演变图。
模型设置炮孔直径42 mm,以孔深Lk和径向不耦合系数R为变量,孔深变量范围在0.6~2.4 m,孔深变化梯度为0.2 m。不耦合系数R变量选2.625、2.1、1.68、1.31、1.2、1。模型中空气和炸药设置共节点,与岩石、堵塞物采用流固耦合设置,自由面反射。
炸药采用煤矿许用炸药,模型采用高能燃烧模型8号材料及JWL状态方程描述炸药爆燃过程,炸药具体参数如表1
炮孔堵塞材料选用随动硬化模型的3号材料,为了研究围岩的损伤程度和损伤范围,选择272RHT材料模型。各材料的力学参数如表2表3
单孔的等效应力云图如图2。起爆后0.1 ms内形成椭圆球传播面,0.18 ms孔口方向的应力传播较快。0.48 ms时,应力波到达临空面并反射形成拉应力,与后续应力波叠加共同作用。在0.9 ms时柱状药包产生的爆轰基本结束。楔形孔起爆应力演化如图3,双孔起爆后应力波同样先是椭球面形式传播,0.54 ms后应力波抵达临空面并反射,0.9 ms时应力波向四周衰减传播,此时岩体内的应力场主要由反射波构成。
通过比较测点的动态响应参数来得出最佳的堵塞长度。单孔选取三个测点,三个测点都位于距离炮孔中轴线50 cm处,测点1位于炮孔孔底处,测点2位于炮孔中部,测点3位于孔口处。双孔起爆测点位于两炮孔中轴线上,测点A位于炮孔中部,测点B位于临空面。具体位置如图4所示。
0.6~1.2 m孔深模型各测点数据如图5,当孔深为0.6 m、0.8 m时,堵塞长度分别为28 cm、35 cm参数取得最大值。由图可知,1.0 m孔深在40~45 cm范围内测点各项参数取得最大值,符合文献[4]提出的Lk为1.0 m最佳堵塞长度0.35~0.45 m范围内。同理,将1.2 m、1.4 m孔深最佳堵塞汇总在表4中。
楔形孔模型数据曲线如图6。由图可知,总体上拉应力峰值先增大后减小,且最大堵塞长度对应的拉应力峰值最小。其中2.0 m孔深的最佳堵塞长度为70 cm,符合文献[1617]试验得出的2 m炮孔最佳堵塞长度0.5~0.7 m。

表4K1K2分别为最佳堵塞比例下、上限以及各孔深最佳堵塞比例K。绘制曲线如图7所示。
图7表明孔深为0.6~1.2 m时最佳堵塞比例K较大,K随着孔深增大迅速减小,在孔深1.4 m之后趋于稳定。表明0.6~1 m孔深在起爆时,应尽量将炮孔封堵满,堵塞长度不应小于35 cm,1.4~2.4 m炮孔按照堵塞比例0.36~0.38进行封堵。
图6中不难发现,长堵塞与短堵塞的动力响应参数较低,且随着孔深增加,长堵塞测点应力峰值以及质点振动速度峰值渐低于短堵塞。
1.2 m、2.4 m孔深岩石损伤如图8图9
图8可知,1.2 m孔深时堵塞20 cm的上部损伤直径为46.8 cm,而50 cm堵塞为51.6 cm,增大了10.3%,90 cm长堵塞炮孔上部损伤较小,但下部损伤直径最大。2.4 m孔深岩石损伤如图9,20 cm堵塞损伤范围小的原因在于炮孔内的空气段长,气体膨胀消耗能量,降低气体压力。140 cm长堵塞孔口裂缝少,孔底粉碎严重,堵塞过长导致孔内炸药反应不足,起爆后破岩能量分布不均匀,孔口能量较少,爆炸体积减小,爆破效果不佳。
综上,结合图5等值线图可知,当炮孔深度超过1.2 m,堵塞长度超过炮孔深度的1/2之后,堵塞物造成孔口部位围岩的破坏能力降低,而孔底粉碎现象严重,岩体内动态响应参数峰值较小以及作用时间较短等爆破效果不佳的问题,即为堵塞物的堵塞过长效应。
不同径向不耦合系数造成孔内爆轰压力变化和能量分布,进而影响炮泥的最佳堵塞长度。在不同R条件下,1.2 m孔深的围岩总能量随堵塞长度的变化,得出最佳堵塞长度,如图10所示。
2.0 m孔深的测点B处拉应力峰值拟合曲线后绘制如图11所示。
将不同R条件下,1.2 m、2.0 m孔深的最佳堵塞长度x1.2x2.0,炮孔堵塞比例K1.2K2.0汇总如表5
表5数据绘制关系曲线如图12。1.2 m和2.0 m孔深的整体变化趋势相一致,在R=1~1.8时,K都随着R迅速下降,在R=1.8之后下降速度放缓,最后都近似趋于同一渐近值。迅速下降段的主要原因是空气层的存在,炮孔内爆轰压力减小,在保证相同的破岩时间,其他爆破参数不变条件下,堵塞长度可相对减小。平缓段,炸药能量传递效率趋于稳定,空气层厚度对堵塞长度的影响降低。该变化规律表明了径向不耦合系数对于最佳堵塞比例具有一定的影响,特别当R在1~1.8范围内变化最佳封孔比例降低将近20%。
大同王村矿8107顶回风巷以泥岩和砂岩为主,裂隙发育较多。该巷道掘进过程中,爆破方案设计1.2 m直眼掏槽孔、2.2 m楔形掏槽孔以及2.0 m辅助眼如图13
炮孔直径42 mm,药包直径35 mm,炸药、围岩和炮泥相关参数由实验室测得如表123。8107顶回风巷爆破原始条件如表6
将现场的参数带入炮孔堵塞物长度计算公式[17],计算得出堵塞长度理论值。查表5得到模拟结果,由于数值模拟具有理想化围岩材料的特点,与实际围岩条件不同,实际堵塞长度应取模拟结果范围的最大值。将两者列入表7
理论值和模拟值差异控制在10%内,故可认为理论公式计算结果与数值模拟结果一致。
根据理论计算值和模拟结果,设计现场不同的炮孔堵塞方案,进行堵塞试验时,仅改变堵塞长度,炮孔深度依据爆破方案设计的孔深以及布置位置。具体堵塞方案如表8
根据表8设置的爆破方案进行炮孔堵塞,不同堵塞方案的爆破效果如表9所示。
现场爆破情况表明堵塞方案2和3的爆破效果是最好的,方案1、4次之,方案5和6存在堵塞过长效应导致爆破效果不佳。由于对材料进行简化处理,不考虑围岩节理和原始损伤,数值模拟得出的最佳堵塞长度,在实际爆破作业中应将长度适当增大。堵塞长度过长时,炮孔利用率低,炮孔临空面的岩体较难被炸药能量破碎,抛掷距离短,近炮孔底部岩体粉碎现象严重。
(1)炮孔堵塞长度对爆破效果具有较大的影响。利用LS-DYNA数值计算得到0.6~1.4 m孔深条件下,炮孔的最佳堵塞比例为0.4~0.54,且随着孔深增大而逐渐减小。1.6~2.4 m孔深时,炮孔最佳堵塞比例为0.36~0.38。
(2)径向不耦合系数R能够影响孔内应力波及爆生气体的强度,对最佳炮孔堵塞长度具有一定影响。通过软件进行数值计算发现当R≤1.8时,炮孔的最佳堵塞长度随着R的增大而快速减小,在R>1.8之后R对最佳堵塞比例K影响不大。
(3)数值模拟结果显示当炮孔深度超过1.2 m,炮孔堵塞比例超过0.5之后,炮孔起爆后出现测点动态应力峰值低、作用时间短、孔底岩石过度粉碎、孔口岩石破坏程度不足的情况,为堵塞过长效应作用,为堵塞过长效应。
(4)在大同王村煤业有限责任公司8107顶回巷掘进面进行现场试验,得到1.2 m的直眼掏槽孔合理堵塞长度范围为60~70 cm;2.0 m辅助眼合理堵塞长度为70~90 cm;2.2 m的楔形掏槽孔最佳堵塞长度为80~100 cm。结果与理论计算值、数值模拟值吻合,验证了研究结果的可靠性。
