The occurrence of oversized fragments during blasting operations significantly increases the cost of blasting, crushing, and hauling expenses. This study addressed the slab' phenomenon observed in the blasting of intact hard rock at the Pingtanyuan Pumped Storage Power Station, where the oversized fragments of the surface blasting area was up to 6 m×5 m×2.5 m. Through comprehensive mechanism analysis, the investigation indicated that the quality of the stemming was the key reason for forming large fragments at the upper part. Meanwhile, the mechanism of its influence lies in the over-long stemming length of the original blasting scheme, which resulted in a low charge center, leading to insufficient energy distribution at the top of the blast hole. Furthermore, an oversized blasting fragments control measurement based on stemming quality optimization was proposed. The stemming length was optimized from 3~4 m to 2.1~2.4 m using a time-sharing piecewise calculation method and the optimization principle, which allowed the part of the stemming structure to rush out of the blast hole. Besides, the decontaminated rock chips were used as stemming material. The results show that the optimized scheme prevented the occurrence of the slab phenomenon, significantly reduced boulder rates, and saved rock breakage costs.

爆破施工中大块率过高会导致爆破、破碎和运输的综合成本急剧增加,对爆破大块进行控制意义重大。平坦原抽水蓄能电站完整硬质岩爆破时爆破区域出现了“盖板”现象,爆破区域表层大块尺寸达到6 m×5 m×2.5 m。通过理论分析爆破大块形成机制,表明炮孔堵塞质量是爆破超大块形成的关键原因。原爆破方案中炮孔堵塞长度过长导致了装药重心太低,爆破孔上部爆破能量分布过少,从而形成“盖板”现象。提出了基于堵塞质量优化的超大块控制措施:采用“分时分段”解算模型和允许堵塞结构部分冲出炮孔的“运移式”堵塞长度设计原则,将炮孔堵塞长度从3~4 m优化至2.1~2.4 m;采用去除杂质的岩屑作为堵塞材料。将优化的方案应用到后续爆破施工过程中后未再出现“盖板”现象、大幅度降低了爆破大块率和节约了破碎成本。研究成果可为爆破施工中爆破块度控制提供参考依据。

爆破施工中大块率过高会导致爆破、破碎和运输的综合成本急剧增加,对爆破大块进行控制意义重大。平坦原抽水蓄能电站完整硬质岩爆破时爆破区域出现了“盖板”现象,爆破区域表层大块尺寸达到6 m×5 m×2.5 m。通过理论分析爆破大块形成机制,表明炮孔堵塞质量是爆破超大块形成的关键原因。原爆破方案中炮孔堵塞长度过长导致了装药重心太低,爆破孔上部爆破能量分布过少,从而形成“盖板”现象。提出了基于堵塞质量优化的超大块控制措施:采用“分时分段”解算模型和允许堵塞结构部分冲出炮孔的“运移式”堵塞长度设计原则,将炮孔堵塞长度从3~4 m优化至2.1~2.4 m;采用去除杂质的岩屑作为堵塞材料。将优化的方案应用到后续爆破施工过程中后未再出现“盖板”现象、大幅度降低了爆破大块率和节约了破碎成本。研究成果可为爆破施工中爆破块度控制提供参考依据。

This study addressed the slab' phenomenon observed in the blasting of intact hard rock at the Pingtanyuan Pumped Storage Power Station, where the oversized fragments of the surface blasting area was up to 6 m×5 m×2.5 m. Through comprehensive mechanism analysis, the investigation indicated that the quality of the stemming was the key reason for forming large fragments at the upper part. Meanwhile, the mechanism of its influence lies in the over-long stemming length of the original blasting scheme, which resulted in a low charge center, leading to insufficient energy distribution at the top of the blast hole. Furthermore, an oversized blasting fragments control measurement based on stemming quality optimization was proposed. The stemming length was optimized from 3~4 m to 2.1~2.4 m using a time-sharing piecewise calculation method and the optimization principle, which allowed the part of the stemming structure to rush out of the blast hole. Besides, the decontaminated rock chips were used as stemming material. The results show that the optimized scheme prevented the occurrence of the slab phenomenon, significantly reduced boulder rates, and saved rock breakage costs.

钻爆法是矿山开采、水利工程建设、交通工程建设等领域中最广泛应用的岩体开挖方式。岩体爆后块度是评价爆破效果的重要指标,而大块率是爆破块度的重要指标之一,爆破大块会对出渣造成非常不利的影响[1],因此工程爆破中需对爆破大块进行控制。
岩体可爆性、炸药爆破性能、爆破参数和工艺都会影响爆破块度[2],相关学者针对工程爆破中大块形成机制及减小大块率进行了大量的研究。冷振东等建立了考虑孔隙率的爆破能量传输模型[3],并采用数值计算研究了爆破块度与孔隙率的关系,揭示了高孔隙软岩的爆破大块形成机制;吕文伟采用层次分析法分析了爆破参数对爆破大块形成的影响权重[4],对大块率影响程度从高到低依次为炸药单耗、完整性系数、最小抵抗线、坚固性系数和岩石密度;Fadillah T等针对安塔姆邦戈地下金矿存在超径爆破块石[5],二次破碎工作量较大的问题,提出严格控制炮孔间排距、炮孔倾斜度,优化炮孔布置形式,采用高性能炸药的措施,将超径块石比例从34%降低到了14%,有效降低了二次破碎的工作量,节约了施工成本;叶海旺等以控制开采大块率为目的,通过数值模拟分析不同孔间延时情况下的爆破块度分布,最后以数值模拟优选的延时开展爆破试验,实现了大块率的降低[6]
上述研究成果为工程爆破施工提供了理论指导和实践参考,但工程岩体为包含节理裂隙、断层、软弱夹层等天然不连续面的地质体[7],因此前述研究针对完整硬质岩爆破大块控制研究较少。本文针对平坦原抽水蓄能电站中完整硬质岩爆破施工出现的超大块石现象,分析了超大爆破块石形成原因为炮孔堵塞长度过长。采用“分时分段”解算模型和允许堵塞结构部分冲出炮孔的“运移式”优化原则对炮孔长度进行了优化,将优化后的炮孔堵塞长度应用于后续施工后对超大块控制取得了良好成效。
平坦原抽水蓄能电站位于湖北省黄冈市罗田县境内,地处大别山革命老区,装机容量为1400 MW,为大(1)型工程。枢纽工程主要由上水库、下水库、输水系统及地下厂房4部分组成。
枢纽布置区域地表大部分基岩裸露,地层岩性较简单,下伏基岩为中细粒混合花岗岩,局部夹少量角闪混合花岗岩和黑云钾长混合花岗岩。表层岩体风化层较薄,弱风化及微新混合花岗岩岩石质密坚硬,岩体完整性较好,岩体声波波速一般大于5000 m/s,微新花岗岩质密坚硬,平均饱和单轴抗压强度70~90 MPa,属坚硬岩石。根据相关勘探及钻孔取样实验结果,岩体参数见表1
平坦原抽水蓄能电站建设中上库右岸大坝边坡开挖采用预裂爆破开挖永久轮廓,地下厂房Ⅲ层开挖采用预留保护层的深孔梯段爆破。上库右岸大坝边坡开挖及地下厂房Ⅲ层中部拉槽爆破的爆破参数见表2
在建设过程中,上库大坝右岸边坡和地下厂房Ⅲ层采用表2中的爆破参数开挖时出现了“盖板”现象,即炮孔装药段岩体的爆破块度分布适中,尺寸大于1 m的块石极少,而爆区表层由几个爆破大块覆盖,尺寸达到6 m×5 m×2.5 m,如图1所示。如此尺寸的超大块石对现场出渣产生了非常不利的影响,显著增加了二次破碎的工作量,延误了施工进度。
当前普遍认可的爆破破岩机制为爆破冲击波与爆生气体联合破岩机制[8,9],即炸药在炮孔中爆炸时,首先爆破冲击波作用于岩体,使岩体产生粉碎区和初始裂隙,形成的爆生气体形成“气楔”作用使初始裂隙进一步扩展。在多孔爆破条件下,各个炮孔形成的裂隙互相连接并将岩体切割成岩块,爆破裂隙密集区岩块小,稀疏区岩块较大。
爆破中大块石形成主要是由于爆破能量太小或分布不均匀形成的。爆破能量较小时,只会在岩体中形成径向裂纹而不会有多余的能量使裂纹扩展和贯穿,从而不能使岩体充分破碎[10];炸药的爆炸能量并不是均匀地传递到整个岩体的,能量密集区域通常会产生较小的碎块,而能量相对较少的区域则可能导致大块的形成。如果炸药布置不合理,炸药的能量可能无法均匀作用于岩体,从而导致一些区域的岩石没有被有效破碎,形成较大的块体。
影响岩石爆破破碎效果的因素有很多,主要因素有炸药单耗、孔网参数、最小抵抗线、起爆方式、自由面情况、炮孔堵塞质量等[10]。炮孔堵塞物能够避免爆轰产物过早地从孔口溢出,延长爆生气体的作用时间,提高炸药能量的利用率,将更多的能量用于岩体破碎[11]。因此爆孔堵塞质量与爆破大块形成密切相关。炮孔堵塞材料与堵塞长度是堵塞质量的关键指标[12],炮孔堵塞材料不合理会导致堵塞结构失效,选用颗粒小、密度小、内聚力小的材料时,炮孔堵塞物与炮孔壁的摩擦小,爆生气体会过早从孔口冲出,达不到堵塞效果[13],容易形成大块。堵塞长度过长时,炸药的装药重心偏低,导致爆炸时在孔口堵塞段部位的能量分布太少,孔口部位难以被破坏,容易形成上部大块[14];堵塞长度太小时,堵塞物与炮孔壁摩擦力较小,爆生气体过早从孔口冲出,导致能量浪费,岩石得不到充分破碎,也容易形成大块。
爆破中岩体的破坏主要是由于岩体的应力状态超过容许限度,由于岩体抗压不抗拉的特性,当裂隙区的岩体受到的拉应力大于动态抗拉强度时,便会发生破坏。
式中:σt为岩体受到的拉应力峰值;σtd为岩体的动态抗拉强度。
而堵塞结构的存在会改变炮孔内的应力分布,如图2所示,炮孔上部岩体的拉应力峰值随着堵塞长度的增大呈现先增大后减小的趋势,即存在最优堵塞长度Ls[15]。因此当堵塞结构过短或过长时其孔口处的拉应力都会过小,导致炮孔上部形成大块。
图1可知,“盖板”现象为爆破区表层岩体出现了尺寸较大的块石,由前述分析可知,出现此现象的原因是由于炮孔上部的能量分布较小,其未发生充分破碎,结合表2中发生“盖板”部位的爆破参数可知爆破孔直径为90 mm,主爆孔炮孔堵塞长度为3~4 m。而根据工程经验,炮孔堵塞长度一般取0.7~1.0倍最小抵抗线长度,或20~30倍炮孔直径[16],即按照工程经验确定的堵塞长度为1.8~2.7 m,小于现场实际堵塞长度。据此判断现场出现“盖板”现象的原因是炮孔堵塞长度太长,需对炮孔堵塞长度进行优化。
(1)堵塞长度优化原则
炮孔内堵塞长度的优化原则与堵塞物在炮孔内的运动规律相关。炸药在炮孔中爆炸后,在爆破冲击波的作用下,堵塞结构将受到压缩,当爆破冲击波到达孔口后堵塞结构压缩达到最大程度,随后堵塞结构将在爆生气体的轴向推动作用下向炮孔外运动。多数学者将堵塞结构在炮孔内的运动分为两个阶段:一是微观波动阶段,即冲击波压缩堵塞物的过程;二是爆生气体推动堵塞物向孔口外运动的宏观运动过程[1719]
炮孔堵塞物在微观波动阶段和宏观运动阶段的运动力学模型如图3所示,其中G为堵塞结构的自重;Pe为爆破荷载;Pf为堵塞结构所受的摩擦力;Pr为炮孔壁施加的侧向压力。
目前常用的堵塞长度准则为:最优堵塞长度下堵塞物冲出炮孔时刻岩体破碎完成[19],但该优化准则未考虑爆生气体的破岩作用,所以计算出的堵塞长度存在一定缺陷。采用“运移式”优化原则计算堵塞长度可以弥补前述优化原则的缺陷,“运移式”优化原则为在爆生气体泄压之前,允许炮孔堵塞结构运动并产生一定的位移,部分冲出炮孔[20],采用此原则可充分发挥爆生气体的作用,提高爆破能量利用率。
(2)堵塞长度计算方法
堵塞结构长度计算拟采用“分时分段”解算模型并采用允许堵塞结构部分冲出炮孔的“运移式”优化原则计算能使堵塞结构的计算更加精确,对应的堵塞长度计算公式为[20]
式中:Ls为炮孔最优堵塞长度,m;φ为综合影响系数,与岩体破碎程度、抵抗线长度及堵塞长度上、下限有关,取值为1.0~1.4,岩体较破碎或抵抗线较小时取小值,岩体较完整或抵抗线较大时取大值;P为爆生气体压力峰值,MPa,径向耦合装药时,径向不耦合装药时,其中Pw为平均爆轰压力;ρe为炸药密度;De为炸药爆速;k为等熵指数,通常取值为3;Pk为爆生气体临界压力,一般取为200 MPa;γ为绝热指数,一般取为1.3;dedb分别为装药直径和炮孔直径。
选用一定强度的堵塞物能够使堵塞体发挥更好的效果,工程爆破施工中,常用的堵塞材料有岩屑与岩粉,如图4所示。岩粉与岩屑作为堵塞材料具有取材方便和施工步骤少、作业时间短、施工简单安全的优势[21]。但岩粉的初始孔隙度大,容易被压缩,密度较岩屑小,岩屑相较于岩粉堵塞物具有更好的堵塞效果[22]。因此为保证爆破施工中炮孔堵塞质量,宜选用岩屑进行炮孔堵塞。此外,现场施工过程中岩屑中可能会混有草、树根等杂物,这会增加堵塞材料的空隙,因此有必要在堵塞炮孔前对堵塞材料进行杂物清除。
平坦原抽水蓄能电站枢纽爆破施工使用的炸药为2#岩石乳化炸药,根据前期爆破器材性能试验测试得到炸药的爆速为4500 m/s,炸药密度为1050~1100 kg/m3。根据前期出现“盖板”的爆破参数(具体见表2)计算堵塞长度,且由图1可知,出现“盖板”现象的爆破部位为完整坚硬岩体,取式(2)中综合影响系数为1.2~1.4,具体的堵塞长度优化计算结果见表3
由前述可知,由工程经验计算的炮孔堵塞长度约为1.8~2.7 m,表3中的优化堵塞长度位于经验公式计算堵塞长度区间内,表明采用的堵塞长度计算方法具有合理性。在后续上库大坝右岸施工及地下厂房Ⅲ层中部拉槽施工中,炮孔堵塞长度取为2.1~2.4 m,且选用清除杂物的岩屑作为堵塞材料,其他参数不变,改进后的爆后效果见图5
图5可知,优化后的堵塞长度用于爆破施工后未出现“盖板”现象,其爆破块度相较于优化前大块率小、块度更均匀。对比优化前后的爆破效果图可知,良好的炮孔堵塞能够改善破碎效果,堵塞长度过长时容易在爆破区域表层形成超级大块;采用式(2)计算出的炮孔堵塞长度能够防止“盖板”现象发生。
从平坦原抽水蓄能电站爆破施工过程中出现“盖板”现象出发,分析了爆破施工中大块形成的机制及关键因素,提出了爆破大块的控制措施,得到了如下结论:
(1)炮孔堵塞能够延长爆生气体的作用时间,良好的炮孔堵塞质量能够改善爆破破碎效果,爆破大块的形成与炮孔堵塞长度相关,炮孔堵塞长度对于爆破孔内的能量分布影响很大。
(2)平坦原抽水蓄能电站完整硬质岩爆破施工出现“盖板”现象是因为炮孔堵塞长度太长,装药重心太低导致孔口堵塞段的能量分布占比太小而未对表层岩体充分破坏。
(3)采用“分时分段”解算模型并采用允许堵塞结构部分冲出炮孔的“运移式”优化原则计算完整硬质岩炮孔的堵塞长度能够改善破碎效果,显著降低爆破大块率和提高爆破能量的利用率。
